2017 New Year’s Resolutions for CrossFit

Cut Your Fran Time

Excelling in CrossFit means always pushing yourself. The harder you go at it, the further you’ll go with it! So, the first resolution on our list is cutting your Fran time. Your main goal is to shave off one minute. However, you should break this overall goal into smaller 20 second ones. Aim for cutting 20 seconds off at time and then work up to the full 60 seconds.

Handstand Walk Goals

If you want to be good at CrossFit, you have to have handstand walk goals. If you can already walk on your hands, set your goal to be able to walk ‘x’ amount of feet. If you haven’t mastered this skill yet, make it a point to work on it in the new year. This is especially beneficial if you’re looking to participate in the Open this year.

Learn How to Swim

You might think we’re being funny when we say you should learn how to swim, but it’s true. We meet lots of awesome people that cannot swim. It’s sad to see them missing out on a fun exercise and leisure activity. Swimming is a great overall body workout for one, and it’s really fun too, so be sure to make 2017 the year you finally learn how.
