They’re filled with pull up bars, tractor tires, weights, ropes, and people. You won’t find machines like treadmills or ellipticals.
- The next thing you can expect when taking your first CrossFit class is a ton of language that you don’t understand. This can be difficult for people at first. However, with time and consideration, you’ll be able to learn the acronyms and other jargon that’s used frequently in CrossFit gyms.
- The most important CrossFit term is WOD. This is your workout of the day. Every box has a scheduled workout for each day. When you get to class you’ll be able to find it written on a whiteboard located somewhere where everyone can view it.
