It will help strengthen your core and upper body. It’s also a great way to work on your balance. Rent a standup paddleboard and take a lesson or two if you’re not familiar with this activity.
  • Take advantage of the sand dunes and use them for sprints! The incline will give you a serious workout for your legs and will burn tons of calories and fat.
  • You can still do circuit training while you’re at the beach. Just take time to mark a course using rocks or driftwood. Do jumping jacks, lunges, sit-ups, push-ups and burpees. Do reps of 15 or 20 and set yourself a time limit. Doing these regular circuit training activities on the sand will make it that much more intense.
