- Have you ever tried surfing? If not, it may be fun to take a lesson or two while you’re at the beach. It will also be a great workout for your entire body.
- Taking a jog or walk on the beach early in the morning or later in the evening can be a great way to stay in shape while you’re vacationing. Running or walking on sand is very different than on roads or other solid pathways. It takes more energy and strength to run on sand than it does on a firm surface.
- Beach volleyball will be a fun and effective way to stay in shape during your vacation. Most beaches have a net ready to go so that you can engage in a game with friends or people you meet. It will help boost your speed, coordination, and agility.
- Touch football on the beach is a great way to get a leg workout in as well as some good cardio. It’s much like interval training and can be a great fat burner.
