To get better at your clean and jerks, you’ll have to also get stronger. This means you should continue with your strength training. Keep following the WODs that work best for you, especially if they’re making you get stronger.
Ask for Help, Especially from Your Coaches
One of the best ways to get better, and get more out of your clean and jerk is by simply asking for help from your coaches. They are certified, after all. Ask your coaches to watch you and have them point out the flaws in your technique. Ask them to help you work through these flaws with any tips they can provide. Most coaches will be glad to help you, as long as you listen to what they say, and you do what is asked of you. Most will even offer supplemental information and training tips.
