- Lying flat on your back, raise your legs in the air so that your body and legs create a 90 degree angle. Then, with your legs still lifted into the air, make a V shape. Bring them back together and then parallel cross them to make a small X. Switch and do the same thing, putting the other leg in front this time while making the X.
- While in the same position, lie flat on your back with your legs off the ground by 6 inches. Make a scissors-like movement with both legs, crossing your left thigh over the right and then reversing it. Continue doing this until you feel a burn. Then, do at least five more sets, repeating the same pattern.
- While lying on the ground on your back, place your arms out to the sides, forming a T. Then, place a stability ball between your feet. Holding the ball with your feet, lift your legs up and into a 90° angle, only holding the ball with your ankles. Keep hips pressed to the floor. Do these leg lifts as many times as you can until you feel burning. Then, do at least five more rounds.
