Crossfit workout

CrossFit

Our CrossFit classes are one hour in length and consist of warm-up, movement instruction and review, workout, and cool-down. All of our workouts are scaleable to any fitness level and are conducted by the most experienced CrossFit coaches in the region. Whether you’re training for the sport of fitness or simply trying to lose some fat and gain muscle and strength, you’ll have the option to choose between our daily “Sport” and “Grind” workout pathways.

At Iron District Crossfit, we pride ourselves on our in-house programming, meticulously crafted to cater to our unique gym environment, cutting-edge equipment, and valuable client feedback.

Our expertly designed workouts stem from over a decade and a half of specialized experience in CrossFit coaching, alongside insights gained from elite D1 collegiate strength and conditioning mentors, front-line military fitness instructors, and professionals in mixed martial arts conditioning.

Our holistic approach prioritizes your long-term health, aiming to enhance your athletic performance, muscle tone, fat loss, and cardiovascular resilience, all while ensuring your overall wellness. By committing to our proven regimen, you’re on the path to achieving your fitness goals safely and efficiently. Enjoy our straightforward, effective workouts that offer the variety you need to stay engaged and motivated. Our workouts are scalable to all levels, ensuring progress you can see and feel.

SPORT

Our Sport pathway is for those interested in improving athletic performance and competing in the sport of CrossFit. This programming option will include Power Lifting, higher skill gymnastics movements, and Olympic Weightlifting.

GRIND

The Grind pathway offers high intensity functional training with a focus on developing sustainable strength and cardiovascular endurance. Be prepared for fundamental resistance training utilizing dumbbells and kettlebells as well as sled work, running, rowing, biking and bodyweight exercises! The Grind programming option is lower skill but equally challenging for those who haven’t yet developed the ability to perform higher skill movements at a high intensity or simply prefer to shut off your brain, breathe hard, and sweat. If long term health and balanced fitness is your goal, this option is for you.

Foundations

The Iron District Foundations course is a series of 4 small group classes conducted Monday through Thursday evenings. Foundations is designed to teach you the mechanics of the movements to ensure your safety and give you the opportunity to acclimate to the intensity of the workouts. It also allows our coaches to evaluate your mobility, educate you on nutrition and discuss your fitness goals. New courses begin every two weeks. Contact us for course start dates and times. If you need alternative class times, contact us for private foundations courses or our online version!

Open Gym

This membership option is ideal for those who want to follow their own programming and simply need a space to train.

If you’re an olympic weightlifter, power lifter or CrossFit competitor, this would be right up your alley.

If you’ve tried this option in your local fitness chain you’ve probably been scolded for dropping plates or making too much noise.

We might even let you workout shirtless, but you have to bring your own mirror.  Open gym is also available to anyone with an Unlimited CrossFit membership.
