More Tips That Will Intensify Your Workouts

Weaknesses

Even Superman has a weakness. So spend extra time working on yours. Think of it as homework. Furthermore, the more you work on your weaknesses, the stronger you’ll get in other areas. Get creative with your weakness training as well. If you need to work on your grip strength, start trying to rip phone books in half. This is super hard to do but makes your hands stronger. I usually do this will all of the junk mail I get. The more you rip, the bigger your pile gets, so the harder it becomes to continue reducing it.

Welcome the Pain

You have to change your mindset to welcoming the pain, instead of thinking of it as a negative. When you embrace the pain, you’re embracing gains. Just like the old saying goes, “no pain, no gain!”

Add a Set

Just like with the tip of pushing yourself in part one, a great way to accomplish this is by adding sets to your workout. If the WOD calls for 3 – 5 sets, shoot for 6 – 8.
