- The ab wheel is a great tool to have, even though you don’t necessarily need equipment to get the perfect abs. Use the ab wheel with an exercise mat. Kneel on the mat and make sure your thighs are at a 90° angle to the floor. Tilt your pelvis back slightly so that your back does not arch while using the wheel. Roll the ab wheel forward, holding it with both hands. Make sure they are directly below your shoulders. Roll it as far as you can forward while keeping good form. Then, roll it backward while crunching your abs. Do this in three sets with 10 to 15 reps at a time.
- Good old-fashioned crunches will never let you down. Though you might have to do more reps at a time, this is a great workout. Work with a friend or secure your feet underneath something to ensure you have correct form while crunching.
