Are you serious about sticking with your New Year’s resolutions this year? If so, we have several tips for you. It’s not easy to make a plan and stick with it for an entire year. However, with the right goals, you’ll be able to do just that. If you need help sticking with your 2019 fitness resolutions, check out CrossFit Invoke! Our fitness coach in Raleigh NC will keep you focused on your health goals!
First things first, it’s important to keep your goals challenging yet reachable. Try not to make resolutions that are impossible to achieve. For example, if you would like to run a 5K this year for the first time, think about whether or not you are trained for this. If you aren’t currently a runner or you don’t think that you are going to be able to do the entire 5K without walking, make your goal to do a shorter race to the best of your ability. Schedule a 5k for a future date that you train for and set a goal that you know is obtainable after the training.
Take time to brainstorm before setting resolutions this year. That way, you’ll have a clear idea of what you’d like to achieve and what you’re comfortable doing. Before jumping into a resolution blindly, take time to make a list of your potential goals.
This is just the beginning of making your fitness resolutions stick in 2019. Don’t worry, we have more coming up in our next post so head over there now!
