Valentine’s Day WOD

Fitness Center in Raleigh NCIs there a better time of the year other than Valentine’s Day to break out the partner WODs? We don’t think so at our fitness center in Raleigh NC. That’s why we’re going to give you a great list of WODs strictly for all the lovely CrossFit couples out there.

CrossFit WODs for Couples

Hi Fives

This WOD is AMRAP timed for 15 minutes. One round consists of 8 power cleans, 8 overhead presses, 10 high five push-ups.

You’ll both go hard with this WOD because AMRAP means “As Many Rounds as Possible.” One partner completes the power cleans while the other partner tackles the overhead presses. Once they both finish their 8 reps, they switch movements. After completing both exercises, they complete 10 high-five push-ups together.

We Be Planking

Here you’re going to be doing 60 box jumps, 50 front squats, 5K row, and lots of planks.

You can complete the non-plank movements anyway you want. Here’s how it works. One partner is holding a continuous plank while the other partner is working through the movements. When the planking partner falls out, you switch places. One round is completed when both partners complete the non-planking exercises.

The Feisty Fifties

You’re both going to time with this WOD consisting of 50 air squats, 50 burpees, 50 hollow rocks, and 50 push-ups. Buy-in for both partners is a 1000m row.

Before you get to the 50s, each partner must complete a 1000m. Then, one partner rests and the other works through the movements. Each exercise must be completed in order without skipping around. Each partner switches places at each 25 rep mark. One set equals completing each of the four movements and one 1000m row.
