  • Using rubbing alcohol or another type of alcohol-based product will be great for application after a workout as well. As we mentioned, the skin should be clean and free of any types of residue, including sweat.
  • Make sure you choose a quality KT tape instead of purchasing one that may be a little cheaper. Unfortunately, when you don’t purchase a quality product, it won’t work as well. Especially for those who are more active while the tape is on, lesser quality brands won’t stand up to activity. It will begin peeling before it should.
  • Always round the corners of the tape before applying. This will help keep the tape from curling or rolling up after activity. It will also help keep the tape from catching on things that you may walk by or brush against.
  • To round the corners, fold the tape in half, lengthwise. Then round the corners with scissors on each end.
